Street performance of the Masca Theatre in the Eurovea Square, Bratislava

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague and the Embassy of Romania in the Slovac Republic invite you to the performance The Wall by the Masca Theatre. Two shows will take place in Bratislava on Sunday, August 21st, 2016,  between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., in the Eurovea Square (Pribinova 8, 811 09 Bratislava, Slovakia).

The audience will see a thrilling performance of living statues, played in the unique style of the actors from Masca Theatre. It is the story of two lovers who fight against rough times and against themselves. Caught up in The Wall, He and She live their life thinking about escaping and keep trying to do this in every moment, with every thought. They succeed in taking some small steps everytime, but their victory turns into a failure right away. The Wall catches them again and tries to transform them in bricks and cement. What The Wall cannot take from them is their life, their power of love, their hopes and thoughts.

The two actors, Cristina Panait and Eugen Fetescu, perform in a bizarrely beautiful underwater ballet. Mister Mihai Mălaimare is the director and the scenarist of the play.
