Between the 30th of Aprilie and the 15th of October, 2012, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv presents the exhibition “Encounters: Bucharest - Yaffo / Bucharest - Haifa”, comprising photographs by Ruth Oren. The images are the result of several years of observations on the streets of the three mentioned cities, presented as visual dialogues.
Dr. Ruth Oren´s career combines artistic and academic activity, spanning from photography to visual communication. Graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a degree in History of the Theater and Hebrew Literature & Grammar, she also holds a masters degree in Media and Journalism and a PhD in Geography and Environmental studies at the Haifa University.
The exhibition is open for the public at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, 8 Shaul Hamelech Blvd., from Monday till Friday, 10:00 - 15:00 hrs.
