The International Dance Festival for Children and Youth, this year on its second edition, will take place between September 25-29, 2016 in various cultural centers in Jerusalem.

With the support of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv, Lucian Ghimiși, manager of the Ion Creangă Theatre in Bucharest and director of the International Children's Theatre Festival "100, 1.000, 1.000.000 stories" will participate in the International Exposure section of the official festival program. During the festival, he will deliver a presentation on the international festival that he is coordinating in Romania and will participate at the performances in the program.

Machol Shalem Dance House in Jerusalem will hold its second International dance showcase platform for children and for the entire family between September 25-29, 2016. Machol Shalem will produce 4 full intensive days' of children's dance performances, which will be viewed by international children's dance festival directors. In recent years, Israeli dance for children and youth has experienced a major transformation, breaking new ground both in the wide range of its repertory and the high quality it has achieved. The broad spectrum of styles reflects the universality of the Israeli productions, whose captivating interpretations resonate with many and varied cultures.
