"1919 Royal Mission" is a stage adaptation based on the journals of Queen Maria and the work "The Later Chapters of My Life." This exceptional show, presented in a one-woman show format, encompasses the tumultuous year of 1919, during which Queen Maria, after surviving the Spanish flu, embarks on a diplomatic (unofficial) mission to the Paris Peace Conference, and later on a diplomatic tour to England. Upon her return to the country, alongside King Ferdinand, she undertakes a major tour in Transylvania, newly acquired as Romanian land. The opening of the first Parliament of Greater Romania, which had representatives from all regions/provinces of the country, is then recounted. It culminates with the memorable date of October 15, 1922, the coronation at Alba Iulia.
