Timisoara 2023 European Capital of Culture makes its way to London to tell stories of the past through most innovative technologies. In order to break the barriers of time and transform the visitors into true tourists who discover the wonders of Romania's westernmost city, Spotlight Heritage Timisoara brings at the Romanian Cultural Institute a unique immersive experience. Do not miss the chance to virtually enjoy walking on the streets of Timisoara, learning about its monuments and admiring the artefacts of this diverse city's museums while exploring the culture and stories of its people! This is a family interactive event and children are welcomed.
Spotlight Heritage Timișoara / Patrimoniul sub reflectoare is a digital cultural initiative of The Polytechnic University of Timisoara created in partnership with The Banat National Museum, part of the Cultural Program Timisoara 2023 European Capital of Culture. Cultural project co-financed by the City of Timisoara through the Center of Projects, Timis County Council, the Ministry of Culture, EEA and Norway Grants.
This event is organised in partnership with Timisoara 2023 European Capital of Culture, Embassy of Romania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Irelandand Spotlight Heritage Timisoara.
The exhibition is on view Saturday, 9th of September and Sunday, 10th of September between 11am and 5pm within Open House Festival and Monday, 11th of September and Tuesday, 12th of September between 10am and 5pm at the Romanian Cultural Institute in 1 Belgrave Square.
