Daniela Frumuşeanu | Palinsèsto
La mostra d’arte ”Palinsèsto” di Daniela Frumuşeanu, organizzata dall’Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica di Venezia e dall’Unione degli Artisti di Romania, sarà aperta al pubblico tra il 9 e il 12 maggio 2024, dalle ore 16:00 alle ore 21:00, nella Piccola Galleria dell’Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica, Cannaregio 2211, Venezia.
L’inaugurazione avrà luogo giovedì, 9 maggio 2024, alle ore 17:00.
La mostra include opere d’arte uniche su supporto tessile, realizzate con tecniche sia sperimentali che convenzionali: collage tessile, ricamo meccanico, ricamo a mano, stampa transfer, monotipo, stampa con timbri di linoleum, stampa a stencil e serigrafia senza disegno.
“La mostra è la quintessenza dei ricordi di un viaggio a Venezia. «Palinsèsto» e l’imagine di un labirinto dei pensieri contenuti nelle pagine di un libro metaforico, spiegati, come strisce verticali flessibili, che parlano della misteriosa bellezza dei luoghi, della storia delle pareti su cui si leggono le texture create dall'acqua, la presenza di licheni e conchiglie; le ho toccate e ho sentito il palpito di un mondo silenzioso che mi ha lasciato impronte ardenti nell'anima. Il messaggio plastico e ideativo contenuto nelle pagine di questo libro immaginario cosparso di similitudini e simboli, costruisce la cornice di uno stato di flusso in cui forma, colore e texture si intrecciano come in una danza.” (DanielaFrumuşeanu)
Daniela Frumuşeanu è un'artista visiva, membro dell'Unione degli Artisti Visivi della Romania e docente universitaria di dottorato presso il Dipartimento di Arti Tessili e Design Tessile della Facoltà di Arti Decorative e Design dell'Università Nazionale delle Arti di Bucarest. È conosciuta sia in Italia che all'estero per le mostre personali e collettive, da lei organizzate o alle quali ha partecipato. È autrice di numerosi cataloghi di mostre, articoli e libri specializzati, pubblicati da case editrici di Bucarest.

Daniela Frumuşeanu | Palimpsest
The Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice is organizing, in collaboration with the Union of Visual Artists from Romania – Decorative Arts Branch Bucharest, between May 9th–12th 2024, in the Piccola Galleria space, the ”Palimpsest” exhibition by the artist Daniela Frumuşeanu.
The exhibition will be open to the public daily, between 16:00 and 21:00.
The exhibition will include unique works on textile support, made in both experimental and conventional techniques: textile collage, mechanical embroidery, hand embroidery, transfer printing, monotype, printing with linoleum stamps, stencil printing and printing without drawing.
“The exhibition is a quintessence of memories related to one of the trips made to Venice. The visual approach «Palimpsest» aims at the labyrinth of thoughts and states contained in the pages of a metaphorical book. Unfolded in the form of flexible vertical strips, they talk about the mysterious beauty of the places, about the story of the walls on which you can read textures created by water or the presence of lichens and shells. I touched them and felt the pulse of a silent world that left burning imprints in my soul. The plastic and ideational message contained in the pages of this imaginary book sprinkled with similes and symbols, build the framework of a state of flow in which form, color and textures gathered as in a dance.“ (Daniela Frumuşeanu)
Daniela Frumuşeanu is a visual artist, member of Romanian Visual Artists Union and an Associate Professor Ph.D. at the Textile Arts and Design Departmentof the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design from theBucharest National University of Arts, with a vast artistic and didactic activity. She is known both in the country and abroad for the personal and collective exhibitions she organized or participated in. She is the author of numerous exhibition catalogs, articles and specialized books, issued by publishing houses in Bucharest recognized by CNCSIS.
