Europe Day Festival 2024

The European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK, in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to the UK, EUNIC London, embassies and civil society organisations, invite European citizens living in the UK and all Europeans at heart to celebrate this special day together as part of the European family.

Inspired by the Europe Day festivals in Brussels and Strasbourg we wanted to bring European partners and citizens living in the UK - the European family - together for a joint celebration!

European values such as peace, democracy and cultural unity in diversity will be at the centre of the event as every country will organise a stand showcasing traditional foods and drinks as well as cultural tourism materials (4 PM-6 PM). Within this framework, master chef Marlena Botezatu of Entice by Marlen will present elements of Romanian traditional gastronomy and wine industry to the audience.

At 4:30 PM, vivid and passionate violinist Adriana Cristea and pianist Mina Beldimănescu will present a Romanian classical music programme entitled Romania With Love featuring works by Constantin Dimitrescu, Mircea Chiriac, Angheluș and Grigoraș Dinicu and Ciprian Porumbescu.

Access to this joint celebration of our European family is free but, for security purposes, everyone needs to register to get tickets with their names on. Please book your free tickets HERE.
