'Closer to the Moon' by Nae Caranfil – to open the UK Jewish Film Festival 2015

The 19^th edition of the prestigious UK Jewish Film Festival opens with 'Closer to the Moon' ('Mai aproape de lună') by renowned Romanian director Nae Caranfil.

We are happy to partner up with the festival and support the opening night gala on 7^th November.

Director Nae Caranfil and actors Allan Corduner, Harry Lloyd, Anton Lesser, Christian McKay and Joe Armstrong will attend a Q&A after the screening.

Prized with nine awards, including Best Feature and Best Director at the Romanian Film Awards, the film will carry the audience straight into the middle of a unique and unbelievable 1959 Bucharest, where a quintet of Jewish intellectuals are planning a daring robbery of the National Bank.
