East Doc Platform International Festival

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague, in partnership with the Institute for Documentary Film in Prague, supports the Romanian participation in the fifth edition of the East Doc Platform International Festival, which will take place on March 7-13, 2016, at the Cervantes Institute in the capital of the Czech Republic .

The EDP festival is the most complex documentary film event in Central and Eastern Europe - a hub, a meeting point for hundreds of producers, festival program directors, editors, distributors, sales agents and representatives of the film financing institutions. Bringing together the most important decision-makers in the field, East Doc Platform offers an international context where future partnerships for co-productions and distribution can be developped.

At this year's edition, the Romanian documentary film will be represented by 9 professionals (selected by the festival organizers):

Anca Damian (Aparte Film Romania),

Oana Koulpy (One World Romania),

Ionut Piturescu (Libra Film),

Andrei Dăscălescu (Petrila Planet Romania),

Anamaria Antoci  (Petrila Planet Romania),

Irina-Andreea Malcea (Borders Romania),

Christian Hordila (Transilvania IFF Romania),

Csilla Kató  (Astra Film Festival),

Alexandru Teodorescu (Saga Film).

The program of the festival includes events for open public. For further information, please go to the official festival website: http://www.dokweb.net/en/ .
