The Association of Romanians in the Czech Republic, the Embassy of Romania in the Czech Republic and the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague invite you to the la Celebration of Romanians in the Czech Republic, which will take place on Sunday, September 11th, 2016, starting from 1:00 p.m., in the Kinsky Park, Prague 5.
The event aims to promote the Romanian culture and will bring remarcable artists on the stage set at the Ethnographic Museum.
Corina Chiriac, an internationally renowned singer, will give a concert dedicated to the Romanians living in the host country, at 4:00 p.m.
The Zarandul Folk Ensemble in Arad and the Sânzienele Folk Group in Arad will present traditional Romanian dances and songs.
Rodica Stegărescu will sing popular music hits.
The young singer Iulia Andreea Constandin will offer an artistic moment.
The Kodrjanka Ensemble, lead by Rodica Stegărescu, will present dances and songs from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
The artistic moments will be accompanied by activities for children, a sweepstakes with numerous prices, tasting of culinary traditional products and Romanian wines.
Among the guests of the 7th edition of the event we mention Her Excellency Ms. Carmen Burlacu, Ambassador of Romania in the Czech Republic, His Excellency Mr. Vitalie Rusu, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in the Czech Republic, Mr. Nicolae Dedulea, President of the Association of Romanians in the Czech Republic, Mr. Ionuț-Petre Munteanu, Director of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Prague, representatives of the Prague 5 City Hall and of the Etnographic Museum.
